Almost Spring

I’m doing much better now, thank you Teri and Laura for your kind words.

I can tell Spring is right around the corner even though we still have snow on the ground from Thursday. I’m really looking forward to getting started on building our garage. Not only will it give us a ton of extra storage space (the computer room currently houses the compound miter saw among other things) but it means that my husband will be able to have his recording studio and we can have a guest room again.

Hopefully I’ll think of something more profound to write later, right now I just don’t seem to have the energy…

While you are conserving your energy, read the DELICIOUS teaser on Laurie King's website! Did you know she has a blog now?? The blog has a great story about skunks on it and her battle with said cute critters. In an earlier post she was discussing how teaching kids to write mystery stories turns them into criminals. Yea. I said the same thing .

Glad to see you are doing ok. THere are daffodils popping up and some kind of pink ornamental trees are blooming here. I still think we have another big freeze coming though.

Hopefully spring is indeed on the way, and will sweep your winter lascitude away.

I've been feeling the same. :P

We don't have neither Spring nor Autumn here (I kind of miss the seasons at latitude 60 N). It was winter (well, our version of it) a week ago and today we had hot stiff summer air (like in the desert, so you feel like you've got asthma...).
The climate near the shore was never particilarly nice, but we weren't expecting this before May. After all, it's seven weeks till Passover - the traditional celebration of Spring (or Summer, since "Spring" is what we call the week between Summer and Winter...)

:-)
